La Jolla is a beautiful and upscale community in San Diego, California, known for its stunning beaches, luxury shopping, and fine dining. If you only have 24 hours to spend in La Jolla, here are some suggestions for how to make the most of your time:
Start the day off with a hike at Ho Chi Minh (Saigon Trail). The upper route by Glider Port offers breathtaking views and an exciting journey to the top. Even try taking the lower trail (Annie's Canyon) leading up to Black's Beach and find the cute cabana overlooking the ocean.
After your hike, head to La Jolla Cove to see the seals and sea lions that inhabit the area. You can also go snorkeling or scuba diving to see the abundant marine life in the cove.
In the afternoon, visit the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art to see works by local and international artists.
For dinner, try one of La Jolla's top-rated restaurants, such as The Marine Room, which offers panoramic views of the ocean and serves seafood dishes with a French twist. We believe it is reservation only. If not, try one of the other restaurants or even the Lot on Faye and have dinner and a movie.
Before/after dinner, catch a sunset at La Jolla Shores, a wide and sandy beach that is perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Overall, La Jolla has something for everyone, whether you're looking for outdoor activities, cultural experiences, or a night out on the town.
These are human only suggested activities, dogs are allowed in some of these places, but it is best to leave your fur friends at home for the suggestions above.
